The military has been getting its ass kicked already, or are we just going to ignore the last 60 years worth of defeat?

I still have no idea why everyone talks up our military like its some badass killing machine. Inbred goat farmers who thought we were Russians beat us in Afghanistan with decades old kalashnikovs and shitty WW2 era weapons.
