I love Trump and think he's the greatest POTUS we had in modern history, simply because he cares about his country and is not afraid to speak out, but people need to acknowledge that he made mistakes. If you don't acknowledge the mistakes Trump or we made, then we are just prone to repeat them. He should absolutely be called out on things he is doing wrong.
Infringing and caving on gun control was absolutely a mistake from Trump. Trump was never a huge 2A guy and I think he thought letting the Democrats have "some" gun control would appease them. It never does.

However, I can still criticize him in places he could've done better. That is how people become better. Trump was weak on the 2nd amendment, especially early on. Trump surrounded himself with bad intelligence throughout most of his presidency. That's a major reason a lot didn't get done. Yes, he was under attack constantly, but he could have minimized some of it by hiring competent people and firing all incompetent people. Why was he working with Fauci? That's one example. He had terrible advisors and backstabbing people close to him. A lot of people do, but Trump with his background should've known better.
He said this wall could be finished in a matter of weeks with only 450 miles of it done? 1954 - 450 = 1504 miles left. That's over 3x what we have done, still left. And we have a dementia fuckup in charge of it now too. Trump should've prioritized it or made it more flexible so people could continue working in the event he lost using private funding if that's what it took. I know I and many more would have donated to a fund. If we lose Texas to illegals you can kiss ever winning another election goodbye.
