Attention is more valuable than currency right now.

He has to vertically build one though because if he leases or or outsources any part of it, haters will cancel him. So servers, webdevs, etc all kinds of steps in that ladder have to be built and bought with his own money so haters can't cancel. Same way HEB grocery chain does. They build a lot of their own farms infrastructure so they have less dependencies in the supply chain. Trump is building a social network with no dependency in the supply chain.

Then a social network can be used to to a lot. It generates more attention over time.

Social network is basically comparable to ETF or index fund weighted with various prominate people's thoughts and opinions. I,e- musk tweets on twitter and it means something. Musk literally generates interest.

Social media generates attention interest as a return on investment as an inflow.

As an output you can use it to quickly garner calls to action for various causes. And retain your network all in one handy place.

Social media network is a huge force multiplier trump needs. Good investment.
