Agreed. I think Gab is at worst just adequate for conservatives, but if it had the number of users as Twitter it would be damn near perfect. Trump should help solve a different problem instead of potentially putting another staunchly conservative social media company out of business - he should just officially join Gab. I don’t know if I’ll join Trump’s project if it means Gab will fall. I love that the CEO of Gab is a Christian nationalist and is pro American values. Trump is pro America but the order is god, family, country. I’m gonna choose the Christian ceo over the poster child for American excess (prior to 2016) which has bred a hedonistic society.
The decision for Trump to launch a gab competitor reeks of Kushner. I’m just kinda disappointed in Trump on this one.
