The point is, people disregard the enormous power of incentives ... even if they seem not that impressive from our vantage point

Securing the border is great and all ... but life without harassment of a warlord, paying tribute, and food and shelter for sweatshop work... might sound like heaven to some people

The efforts to legalize illegal working conditions could be more effective than any wall

the most effective deterrent is a deterrent not appeasement. cross the border with drugs you are shot. cross the border with children you are detained and tortured for information regarding your child kidnapping ring. and shot. illegally crossing for a better life. shipped the fuck back home.
