I find it interesting how true that is at a personal level. if I don't struggle I suck, so I put myself in positions where I struggle to succeed.

sadly many people understand power and money as success rather than self accomplishment. I don't need to struggle yo make money, but it feels very empty.

Proverbs talks exactly about what you talk about.

It says that it is better to eat herbs than meat if the herbs arw worked for and the meat not worked for, since it says that the herbs will taste better than the meat if you actually worked for them.

Similarly, it says that rest after a hard day is more restful and rewarding than rest without work.

Kinda wild how this wisdom has been available to us for millenia but society continues to try to deny it.
