The same people that put aboriginal politics stickers on their car, also volunteer at animal shelters. The people that actually interact frequently with aborigines in the community all see something different.
I know nothing about that aspect of Australia, but I thought this was a very well-designed and insightful/informative comment!! It really put a smile on my face.
There's two types of relationship.
Privileged white person > Pet aborigines
Working class white person > Dangerous animal.
