The whole UFO/UAP (unidentified aerial phenomena) subject has been gaining momentum in the news in the last few years.

In 2017, the New York Times published a story about the Pentagon UFO program, which brought the issue more into the mainstream, despite the leftist bias of the newspaper:
Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program
In 2020, the Pentagon released an official statement regarding three videos showing UAP, from several notable incidents in 2004, 2014, and 2015, in which fighter pilots based aboard the USS Nimitz and USS Theodore Roosevelt observed and filmed UAP, known as the FLIR, GOFAST, and GIMBAL videos.
In other words, the government acknowledged that these videos are real, and they do in fact show UFOs/UAP:
Statement by the Department of Defense on the Release of Historical Navy Videos
2020 Tucker Carlson interview with Commander David Fravor, retired Navy pilot who observed and filmed a "Tic Tac" shaped flying object in 2004, along with his fellow pilots, which appeared to move rapidly in all directions with no obvious acceleration or exhaust, in a way which is not apparently possible with technology presently known to the United States government or military.
Some have speculated this and other sightings and alleged recovered UAP materials could represent a gravity control propulsion system, rather than known reaction propulsion systems:
Retired Navy pilot who spotted 'Tic Tac' UFO: There's something out there
2019 Joe Rogan interview with Bob Lazar, former Los Alamos National Laboratory physics researcher, who claims to have worked at a facility called S-4, connected to Groom Lake/Homey Airport/Area 51 in the 1980s, in which he observed and experimented on aerial craft of unknown origin and composition.
Although critics have tried to discredit Lazar and question his educational, employment, and legal history, he is on video in 1989 talking about Element 115, gravitational wave theory, and other scientific concepts which would not be widely known or directly observed until the 2000s/2010s:
2019 Joe Rogan interview with Lazar and Corbell, which eventually led to the "Storm Area 51" Facebook meme and event:
Joe Rogan Experience #1315 - Bob Lazar & Jeremy Corbell
The anal probes should have been a hint.
This is what I worry about the most
