Change your perspective. This is the best thing that could happen to you.
Don't go to college. Learn a trade and save. Work hard and work your way up. Buy a house as soon as possible. Get roommates. Pay off your house. Get married, have kids.
By 30 start your own business. Or just keep your cushy salary and project manager position and flip a couple houses a year on the weekends.
I get that it sounds hard but that's not a joke. And you disparaging it doesn't help anyone....
Living below your means and being smart with your money makes that a possibility. Especially if you set up multiple income streams early. Plus retiring doesn't mean having no job.
Construction and other trade work has an incredibly high earning potential. And those skills can be used to make way more money than a job will pay you.
You just need to think of things differently. Especially if you're under 25.
