Once you are past the learning curve shaving with a straight razor is easier, faster and cheaper. I have not cut myself using my straight razor in over 5 years. You can buy a dozen plastic razors for a dollar at kroger. Only 2 blades, which can be a big change if you're used to 4 or 5, but does the same job. Once you adjust, they're perfectly fine at their purpose. You could use a new one every day (they usually last me 3-4 days before becoming too dull) and not spend anything remotely close to what these "prescription" razors will cost you

Dunno about Harry's razors, but at the time I switched Dollar Shave Club was just rebranded Dorco razors. I just started buying the Dorco's after the DSC woke crap.
I tried them out several years ago. There selling point in their ads was NO RECURRING MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS. I paid up front for their starter kit.. four blades and a handle, and they threw in some shaving cream and some lotion crap.
Six days after I received the starter kit (I hadn't even used it yet) I got another delivery of several replacement cartridges and sure enough I had been charged for them.
I called raising hell and slammed them on social media for it until they apologized and refunded my money.
And when I did finally get around to using their blades they were pretty much shit anyway. I usually don't use shaving cream but with theirs I had to otherwise they cut like shit.
I've been using Dorco for several years now. I'm too lazy to deal with straight razors and their cartridges cost maybe a buck or so and last at least a few months. Also they work great on my face without needing shaving cream. I know they're not US made (korea I think) but it's the best bang for the buck I've found.

Literally bought a box of blades like 2 years ago and still have I don't even know how many left, lol. Shaving for me granted is just cleaning up lines around my beard but still totally worth it.

Dunno about Harry's razors, but at the time I switched Dollar Shave Club was just rebranded Dorco razors. I just started buying the Dorco's after the DSC woke crap.
I dropped them long ago when they were spewing shit about toxic masculinity.
“values misalignment”.....it ‘s like they literally just got off the phone with Jack Dorsey who taught them a woke word-combination they could flex.
I tried them out several years ago. There selling point in their ads was NO RECURRING MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTIONS. I paid up front for their starter kit.. four blades and a handle, and they threw in some shaving cream and some lotion crap.
Six days after I received the starter kit (I hadn't even used it yet) I got another delivery of several replacement cartridges and sure enough I had been charged for them.
I called raising hell and slammed them on social media for it until they apologized and refunded my money.
And when I did finally get around to using their blades they were pretty much shit anyway. I usually don't use shaving cream but with theirs I had to otherwise they cut like shit.
I've been using Dorco for several years now. I'm too lazy to deal with straight razors and their cartridges cost maybe a buck or so and last at least a few months. Also they work great on my face without needing shaving cream. I know they're not US made (korea I think) but it's the best bang for the buck I've found.
