I got approved last week for a ccw permit, and have an appointment later today. What is the appointment like? And what to expect? It only said I needed to bring ID, but are they going to ask me questions or just take my picture and that's it?

Depends on the state. My state asked me if I was taking drugs, had recently lost a job and how my marriage was going. An actual detective took me into a room where they question people. Meant to intimidate folks I guess. Oh, they also asked about other people in the home that would have access to the firearms.
