I'm maybe too paranoid, I saw libtards EVERYWHERE. Almost no black people, off course, they love BLM but they don't visit places where you find a Church's or a Popeye in the area. Only lesbians with adopted black kids, I saw absolutely no diversity there, only white leftists, a lot of houses with the obvious liberal decorations (rainbow flags, diversity signs, etc), people wearing TWO masks on sidewalks! Even a stupid singer of a small rock band in a place called Nash St Tavern, he was singing outside with a mask! Plenty of lesbians and people with blue die hair color, off course, Subarus and Volvos station wagons everywhere. This libtards are taking over all the nice places in North Carolina. Asheville and Boone are also a dump of hippies and elite libtards.

Last time I went to Durham was in Labor day 2019 to the Bull City Rumble, a vintage motorcycle show. I went by train, walked to the show, enjoyed it, and then I walked go back to the train station. In that 83% you said is composed of 75% Black ghettos surrounding downtown, and 25% of White leftist elites who live in historic downtown, the rest maybe spread on the rest of the county. I can tell from my experience as a residential technician in the area.
I think that most of the conservatives are in the far north part of Durham County.
But even that has gotten diluted in places like Bahama & Rougemont.
A lot of the NY, NJ. & PA crowd has started buying land up that way.
It’s pretty expensive up there too for land.
Running 10k & up per acre of land. Tax values are insane.
Hell, they even used to tax your pets.
Not sure if they still do.
They would find out about them when people took their animals for rabies shots. $10 for spayed $75 unaltered.
Then people stopped taking their pets because of the taxes, and shocker!!! Rabies cases increased.
I spend very little time in Durham if I can help it.
It was sort of bad there when I got to this area and it has went down hill in the ensuing years.
I keep telling my family it is time to return to Texas but from what I understand a lot of Texas has fallen as well.
Like another poster on this thread said where can you go that has not been invaded by liberals.
It's sad to hear an American say this, I moved here from Argentina, an old guy from hometown told me, "we are the last two conservatives in this town, if you move, that's it, I won't have long time in this earth". I moved here looking for a conservative's paradise, I was in heaven till last November. It's amazing how everything is falling so fast! But I have hope in this Nation, most people are Christian and conservative, we will prevail!
That is sad that your hopes got dashed the way they did, but I love your optimism.
I thank you for the reminder of America being a place that many people still look at as a place of hope & freedom.
As much as I play around & try to make people laugh, I have been feeling a little dark lately.
I try not to spread it around because it is as contagious as can be.
Your comments really made me feel better and I thank you for that.
I am second generation born in US. Grandparents left Germany as Hitler came to power.
I think many people are conservative but the media amplifies a small section of the liberal side and that is all we hear about.
I think we have all been so comfortable with our lives and are afraid to give that up.
I have some conservative friends that think 2024 is coming & how much can biden mess things up in four years? I do not think they want to accept without some big changes being made, 2024 is not going to matter.
It's not that I think they are stupid, I think they are not ready to see what is happening and it is going to take more than just an election (which those are not even secure) to fix the problems.
I wonder how they do not see that a tampered with election is part of how we got here.
I know something will eventually happen that ends up being the one thing many of us can not walk away from.
When & where, I do not know but I feel it is getting closer.
