All that woke artwork they use now is so fucking ugly.

HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 42 points ago +42 / -0

commie "art"... (glorifying what is objectively ugly)

Her face looks like a thumb or something.

6

I see it..it looks like a trans thumb..

3
ModernKnight 3 points ago +3 / -0

A thumb crossed with a not particularly bright goldfish.

The art all looks the same because its based off the same off-the-shelf animation renders. Same reason all the stupid instagram ads look the same; they're all done with the same cheap, easy software like Canva and others. ZERO CREATIVITY. HIVE MIND. It's not even on par with graffiti, which at least requires you to wield a damned spray can.

7
80960KA 7 points ago +7 / -0

While like 99.9% of graff is absolute garbage, if you watch the guys that really know what they're doing work the amount of technique on both large and small scales is really impressive. I've seen graff artists do "glitch" style with hand drawn macroblock artifacts, comic style halftones, and all with nothing more than like a straight edge, paint, and caps.

AOCs_tits_4ever 2 points ago +2 / -0

True facts. Some taggers have mad skills.

7
45fan 7 points ago +7 / -0

Now take a look at who they modeled. It's not so much the art style.

2
honk_honk_honk 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's a hallmark of communist regimes, Eastern Europe suffered the same under the USSR, both in architecture and actual artwork. Granted, it was not as bad as this, but it was still a fall from the art of the day.

Sorry for your loss pede. What I don't understand is if someone is dying and nothing can stop it, why can't we ditch the PPE bullshit and hug them? It is ALL bullshit!!!!

-22
Hanging_Chad -22 points ago +2 / -24

Because there are other patients in the facility?

17
Anon1970 17 points ago +17 / -0

Because there isn't a fucking virus.

7
Hanging_Chad 7 points ago +9 / -2

Yeah, but other patients who fall for the fearmongering don't want to get "infected"

And hospitals would be liable for negligence if someone tests false-positive after allowing unprotected visitation

These are just guesses I'm pulling out of my ass tho

9
ITS_A_MINDSET 9 points ago +9 / -0

yea this is the first time hospitals have had to deal with an infectious disease.

1
Sick_of_the_bs 1 point ago +1 / -0

PPE is put on (and taken off) at the door of the patient so you don't cross contaminate and spread any illness around to others.

notatallimsure 31 points ago +31 / -0

Did they really have to make these cartoons all look like they have Down's syndrome?

15
ObongoForPrison2020 15 points ago +15 / -0

Most of that art is made by low-IQ Halfricans who live in a city, are on government assistance, and do forced quirky shit like riding one of those multi-colored "cruiser" bicycles while wearing a turban.

12
Pepesforfreedom 12 points ago +12 / -0

I know people like this. My mother however made it to the end of April last year and after missing Easter and my daughters bday she said enough of this shit. For some odd reason though she insists on getting the vaccine. I said “you made it this far, guess it wasn’t that bad”. Her friends talk her into this nonsense.

12
theblackprince 12 points ago +12 / -0

The propaganda surrounding this is outrageous. I have watched people submit to it without even knowing it over the course of 6 months.

8
80960KA 8 points ago +8 / -0

My parents both got the experimental gene therapy I mean vaccine and thankfully appear to have avoided any of the short term side effects. My dad was like "if it kills me with cancer in 10 years I was probably already almost dead from something already anyway" and honestly that's a fair outlook for a man of my dad's age.

My mom said I should get it but after I said "nah don't trust the experimental thing, I'll just forge a vax card if I need one" she hasn't pushed it.

6
Blue_Country_Refugee 6 points ago +6 / -0

Honestly, I'm surprised there isn't already a website to forge vaccine cards.

2
Raziel 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's the numbers. Identification numbers are rough when they're checked. It's not like a CD keygen where originally the program only made sure there were letters and numbers in the right places.

11
Lol_Garrus 11 points ago +12 / -1

pwhy the fuck does every leftist use the same, shitty, lack of detail art style?

11

Alegria art.... thanks, I hate it.

dude_bro 12 points ago +12 / -0

Never knew it had a name til yesterday. I just called it Globohomo-Art

1

This seems to me to represent leftist pop culture. Steven Universe and shit. I always knew there was some commie crap going on with this stuff.

6
80960KA 6 points ago +6 / -0

Same reason southpark does. It's dirt cheap and fast to crank out. Draw a vaguely mammy-shaped circle, add more circles for the afro, draw a square and a noodle for the cellphone and arm, color everything shades of shit-brown, done.

I'm like a level 1 Illustrator user and I could do one of these in like 15 minutes. There's no real advanced technique involved.

1
Blue_Country_Refugee 1 point ago +1 / -0

If that's really the answer then I dont hate it. I kinda appreciate the "do the best you can in 15 mins" mentality. Often that's 90% as good as what you could do in a half hour.

6
80960KA 6 points ago +6 / -0

I think that's why it bothers me, we used to take pride in commercial art, now everything looks like a children's book or JazzFest poster contest winner.

3
notCIA 3 points ago +3 / -0

My uncle is an artist. He used to work for a local news station illustrating the daily news graphics for them. He's done quite a few jazz posters as well back in the day. Things like this used to take real artistic ability and effort, now it is just some formulaic garbage that represents the cultural stagnation of the west about as well as our mainstream music. I feel the need to mention that this comment comes from what is about your average, outdoorsy redneck. The fact that I value and appreciate real art and music more than our supposed intellectuals should be alarming at the very least. I should also point out that my father, my uncle and I elicit a hilarious reaction from the progressives when we go to art shows and small-forum concerts. There is always a "we don't like your kind round these here parts" vibe coming off all the blue hairs and male feminists.

2
80960KA 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah that's why I say "poster contest winner", like when a local concert promoter in the jazz/hippie/jam genre is too cheap to hire a real artist and they just crowdsource the art with a contest or one of their barfly artist friends - it's passable but never as sharp as a commercial artist with experience and a good eye.

Mainstream-est music is pretty garbage now, there are a few standouts in the same septic tank with Cardi B's sloppy diseased gash and Billie Eilish's zoned out heroin ahegao face and 20 generic noglords rapping about pussy, cars, and Glocks with varying levels of skill.

Overall though, for music tomorrow is the best time - now that everything's digitized you're not in any way limited to the literal feces the radio and top 40 streaming lists pump out, and there are tons of currently active unsigned/true indie bands in just about any genre to discover.

Answer? "No, you must continue to wear a mask and social distance. Praise COVID."

5
cook_does 5 points ago +5 / -0

Branch Covidian is real.

10
cook_does 10 points ago +10 / -0

The masks and the coronavirus is just an excuse miserable, lonely people are using to feel a sense of importance. They have no human connection, and now they have a reason why. This is their identity, this is their meaning. They won't let go of masks and they will gladly get a vaccine that may kill them because its all they have.

My mom got the Rona, I went to her house every other day to bring her food and cook her meals because a virus is not ever going to be so dangerous that I choose to forsake my family in a time of need.

2
GoldenStateCrusader 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who wouldn't have thought we were such a significant minority... or at least that's what the media would like us to think.

I don't buy it for a minute. 😒

7
KAG2020WIN 7 points ago +7 / -0

Last time I saw my mother she told me she wished shed had me aborted. I'm ok with not getting any hugs.

4
HeavenlyTrumpets [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yikes. Understandable.

7
SickOfIt 7 points ago +7 / -0

My mom is terrified of Covid. We still hug.

3
LesboPregnancyScare 3 points ago +3 / -0

mine is too. She wont hug.

3
SickOfIt 3 points ago +3 / -0

That's upsetting. Hope she comes around soon. The fearmongers (media) over Covid should be charged for all the unnecessary pain and suffering they've caused.

3
LesboPregnancyScare 3 points ago +3 / -0

Like a lot of Boomers, they trust the TV and those on the TV claiming to be an authority/expert. The MSM and government tells them they should be fearful, they are fearful, the MSM and government tells them to get an experimental vaccine, they get the vaccine.

I thought a lot about this, and my assessment is: boomers grew up in a time when society, the MSM and government were a lot more trustworthy than now, not 100%, but a lot more than now. They grew up and lived in a more John Locke-ian society where most people had good will, and that formed the basis for a trustworthy society, MSM, and government.

They carried their trust of society, government, and MSM with them for many years. Because of that, now they still view the mentioned 3 favorably despite the obvious contrary evidence.

2
SickOfIt 2 points ago +2 / -0

You're exactly right.

5

shhh....just keep telling her no.

3
DeusVultIntensifies 3 points ago +3 / -0

Amen. I have a co-worker who is livid that not everyone is getting the vaccine because she hasn't seen her grandkids for almost a year. Her son and DIL blame Covid for keeping her away. News flash- Her DIL hates her and is more than happy to keep her away.

3
DeepWinter 3 points ago +3 / -0

Took me awhile to realize the black space wasn't background but her damn hair.

Art sucks so much ass right now.

3

If you haven't hugged your mom in a year because of the rona, your mom raised a complete idiot.

3

My mom died 2x in 2019 and was revived (lung issues). I've been to her home nearly every weekend...no mask.

2
TrumpFan26 2 points ago +2 / -0

If i adhered to these "rules" i wouldn't have visited my grandfather every other day for a year.which would have been very bad as he died a week ago(no not from the rona but i bet the hospital would say he did)

2
Slice 2 points ago +2 / -0

My mom moved away when Covid hit and she says me and my kids have to be vaccinated before we can get near or hug her... Sigh.

The NYT, rag of idiot liberals and SJW....

spoiler alert.. a black person gettin the vaccine.. let alone one that survivived it.. less likely to exist than nessie

1
IlhanOmarsFagBrother 1 point ago +1 / -0

Is that "person" in the artwork a man or woman?

1
Lockdown106 1 point ago +1 / -0

No offense but I want to hug my mom, she is just a leftist that is scared to death of COVID. We are still close though, I just respect her wishes and I don’t try to push her out of her comfort zone. Anyone else- I drop the uncomfortable truth. I won’t do that to my mother though

1
awsure 1 point ago +1 / -0

My Mom live 1200 miles away

2

That's why I said "because of the rona."

Well, that takes more than 10 minutes to make, so the Adderall droids aren’t interested.

The "Bribe" never pans out with these types. How's that 2000 stimulus looking? Gas prices sure help, don't they? I hugged my grandparents over Christmas without wearing a mask or ever once using hand sanitizer. Everyone was as safe when I left as they were when I arrived (one grandparent died the day before I arrived).

1
KittyCap 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly!!! And if your parents or grandparents have been locked up in a nursing home even though you haven't been able to work, then you may be a pos!
