I just heard on the radio that Krispy Kreme is giving away doughnuts to people who get the vaccine. Show them your vaccination ID card, and they'll give you a free plain glazed doughnut.
What a bunch of fucking idiots. I quit going there a long time ago, when they showed me they couldn't make a fucking cup of plain coffee. They were too busy making fru-fru iced coffee drinks, and I stood there waiting 15 minutes for someone to make me a damn cup of coffee.
The lengths that everyone is going to, to try and convince us to get one of these vaccines only adds to the suspicions we all already have.
For true coffee satisfaction, make it yourself.
I was there with my family, and wanted a cup of coffee to have with my doughnut.
Most of the coffee I drink is at home, or at a diner type restaurant if I'm having breakfast. I have no complaints about diner coffee - it's nothing fancy, but it's good. My coffee tastes are pretty tame.
I've pretty much just quit going anywhere that serves these BS fru-fru coffee drinks. They somehow seem to have trouble with a simple cup of "just coffee flavored coffee".

I enjoy a nice cup of diner coffee as well. There's a brand out of Houston called Geva Royal Cordoba that one of my favorite restaurants serves. What a nice cup. Gets me in the feels everytime how good it tastes for a no frills cup of coffee. It's so puzzling how we've moved away from simple goodness to all frills shite in under 20 years.
Well, I guess cream, sugar, or black just wasn't cutting it for the soy boys and other millennials. They have to have enough options so they don't have to be like anyone else, and it makes them feel special to have their own custom soy vanilla decaf mocha latte with extra froth. Maybe it's that "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.
