Africa, the entire continent save for South Africa and the Arab north, is owned by the Chinese. Here's the problem, decades old projects that were never completed by the Africans themselves due to corruption, graft, and laziness, are now being done by the Chinese with Chinese workers, Chinese money, at break neck speed. The Africans get the rail road, highways, cellular infrastructure, ports, shopping malls, bridges, buildings that the Africans can't build. In return, the Chinese commies get a thousand year free lease on prime ports, land with mineral rights, harvesting of endangered species with impunity.

YES! I read an excellent article about that at least 5 years ago how China is taking over basically all of Africa. They know Africa can't repay the loans for the infrastructure they're building so eventually when they default on the loans, China owns the resources.
