No they weren't. But some people here have taken the smooth brain position that because they fought the worse guys (commies) and lost that makes them the shat upon underdog defenders of western civilization.

No theory policies were crap, their targeting was terrible, they failed in every thing they tried to accomplish, and damaged legitimate nationalism the world over, probably forever

they failed in every thing they tried to accomplish

This is such a smoothbrained take that it lessens the impact of the other things you say. It's obviously not true.

Tried to expel Jews from country. Gonna go with no

Tried to take over Europe. No

Tried to become energy independent (Africa campaign, coal to oil). Nope

Tried to institute a German worker's program that helped germans. No

Tried to re take lost lands. Nope

Tried to kill the central bank. No

What major goals did they get done with? The people's car? Sure. Stop runaway inflation, sure for a bit.

But big things got left behind, their cities died and burned and they lost. Leaving their enemies to pick from the corpse and rule the ashes ever since

And in such a short amount of time too. Hitler started a the war in Europe about as long into his reign a US senators term.

Call the Nazi ideology based all you want, but in no uncertain terms did they accomplish anything because their ideological blinders precluded them from doing so.
