I didn't claim to be an expert at any particular thing. I only claimed I've read a lot of books. The worst thing that makes me is a dilettante. I don't care for the rhetorical strategy of attributing things to me which I haven't said. I'm not Ricky or Bobby, don't know who that is. I've only ever posted under this moniker on this site and on the old one. I'm happy to converse or debate with most people on most topics but I draw a line when people get abusive and nasty, which you have. So I'm leaving this conversation. Enjoy your library. It's nice to have one and I respect anyone who's built a substantial one.
Thank you. I appreciate your honor and accept your apology. In the coming times people like you and I, with large real libraries, are going to be the lore keepers. We don't have to agree on everything or even like one another to appreciate the value in that.
Nah, you will never be known and your ideas totally forgotten to the wind. Neanderthal has no voice. Sorry fren, I do have love for ya...like the fish in my tank. I care about you therefore I am honest with you. Lore is cave paintings. The entire system is devised for one purpose...to extinguish your growth and graduation.
"Come out of her" they say. The Prince, haven fallen asleep and intoxicated, has forgotten to rescue the Pearl.
You misunderstand me. I don't expect to be known or remembered. Nor do I desire it. What I desire is to preserve a bit of civilization and culture for future generations. What's going on now won't stop with Columbus statues and "Huckleberry Finn." Hard copies that can't be digitally altered will become increasingly less common. I want to preserve beautiful things that humans have created and share appreciation of them. That's why I have big libraries, of writing and music and other things. Because civilization.
Edit: that was what I meant by lore keeper.
