How do you know? A lot of the arguments between science and religion are based on "time". Well time is relative to speed and space. So it's not even for certain that time has been constant throughout the existence of matter or that we as a solar system are traveling through linear space. So it's not like you're working with full information either. But hey if it's not in a textbook must not be true ;) Science is a process of discovery keep an open mind. Not everything is as it seems.
