Hmm.. I went back and read what you said, “that rainbows in the Bible were meant to signify unity between God and man...” but I’m still not seeing how that’s correct in regards to Genesis. Rainbows don’t signify unity, they signify God’s covenant not to flood the world again. There is no unity between God and man without Christ as the intermediary. A rainbow does not rectify this.
