No kidding. We spent our college years partying and doing drugs, and now reality is bitch slapping us hard. We're in thousands of dollars of debt from student loans, and we'll never own a house. Generalizing for the whole generation, of course, and not suggesting we shouldn't take responsibility for our choices. Just pointing out the future we expected is very much mismatched with the future we seem to be headed towards at the moment. Hard to stay positive when it feels like the best times are behind you.
