The fact is that some of us have treated Trump like a deity. This is fundamentally wrong (false idolatry) as well as foolish, since Trump merely represented an idea. That idea lives on without Trump.

Ascribing magical powers to Trump only serves to neuter the real power of the people and of the virtue of liberty.
