My breakdown of those pushing communism in this country:
There are the elites who will make out just as well during the US destruction as they do during prosperous times. And they have the funds to bail from the US if they choose to. What they want from communism is more power/finances, and they are the only ones who will get it. Either directly, or as an influencer speaking through high ranking government officials.
Next tier down you have the elites servant class: the corporate managers of all levels, their lawyers, their money managers, their media mouth pieces, etc. These people think they will be spared by and/or elevated by the elites once the US slip into communism starts closing in. These people dont understand while their positions are important to the elites, they themselves are replicable, and the supply of those wishing to be part of the servant class by far outnumbers those in it. Those people are like a butler of a swanky estate: they get to live there, serve their master, occasionally hob nob with other elites, and enjoy the lifestyle but their master doesnt even know their last name, nor cares. And will not hesitate to replace the butler if someone better comes along or the butler slips up once.
Lastly you have the "woke" crowd. These people are powerless working class people (upper middle, middle, lower middle, low) who believe the elites and their media mouthpieces when they speak of promises of a better future under communism. These are the people, like the rest of us, will be fucked hard. They, like the rest of us, will see higher taxes for less services. They will welcome government controlled health care, not understanding that the government would have a monopoly on it. They will see lower quality service, long wait times, denying coverage for whatever reason decided, and there will be nothing they can do about it. The same with housing, the same with a job, the same with everything now under control of the government. They foolishly think that since they are the supporters of a new commie government, and not like those "Trump-tards", they will receive favorable treatment. They are incredibly stupid.
