There’s no way, as a woman, to stay safe as a prostitute. You’ll eventually be raped or taken advantage of in some other capacity.
Doesn't this happen in DC regularly? We may never agree on this topic but I hope everyone would keep an open mind. Bad things will always happen to people both good and bad. Making something illegal doesn't help things like this in my opinion. Illegal drugs are still available for anyone to buy any day of the week. Making stuffs illegal hasn't helped. Murder, violent crime, theft...all illegal but still very common in most of the world. And no...I don't think Making all this legal will help. My only point is that adults should be able to do adult things. Victimless crimes aren't crimes
The main issue we have in the U.S. is that criminals know that they'll likely just get a slap on the wrist and not receive harsh punishment.
Why fear being punished when the reward is much greater.
To add by legalizing prostitution specifically, all you will be doing is creating an environment where trafficers will thrive and more women will be victimized.
In California where the laws against prostitution aren't enforced they have an epidemic of women being kidnapped and used in the sex trade. A buddy in the LASD who works these cases explained that the number of women and girls going missing is staggering but the media doesn't care.
Why not legalize sex work?
