You know there’s logic to your points, you don’t need to add excessive punctuation for effect like a woman would.

America being freedom land, it will always have that rhetorical appeal. And I admire it. It does make sense for a country as large and diverse as this.

I also think the “puritanical moralists” could function on a smaller scale. However that probably will never realistically happen. I do think the moralists are ultimately correct in what an ideal society should be or at least strive for. They understand the scope of the present situation. And I used to be a more outspoken lolbertarian too, yet here we are.

It would seem so. It is unfortunate. I think they might just be unaware, or don’t want to admit “all freedom for every single thing ever” is perhaps a detrimental thing for a society. Freedom is a bit of a paradox at the end of the day.

At that point people become slaves to their carnal desires.

And in regards to a smaller moral population, that's true especially when a nation is homogeneous in it's ethnicity and its beliefs at the bare minimum. But America isn't.

It think America's greatest failure is the melting pot.

The idea that you could bring multiple different ethnicities with each their own beliefs and cultures and make them get along is asinine.

And especially forcing people to interact when they didn't want anything to do with each other prior.

All it did was lead to the problems we have today.
