I'm seeing a lot of people say this in response to the upcoming gun bans from the Biden regime.

To frame this, hiding and burying your guns is just as bad as losing them. You are still losing your 2A rights.

The goal is to completely strip 2A rights from American citizens, which means if you get caught with an AR-15 (for example) and didn't turn it in during the buyback period, you are automatically a felon.

They've already done in states like New York, and they'll also implement a "see something, say something" program which will offer rewards and encourage people to rat out gun owners who didn't comply. We'll see a lot of angry ex-wives or neighbors ratting people out.

This is going to create an atmosphere where people who didn't turn their guns in, will fear getting reported or caught, and will say "just hide and bury your guns". But the consequences of that is just as bad as losing your guns. Why you might ask? You won't be able to use them for self-defense or defending your family, you won't be able to go to the shooting range, won't be able to train with them, won't be able to be seen with them, and won't be able to talk about them.

I believe that most Americans won't turn them in, but those guns will just sit there collecting dust in a closet or buried under the ground.

This scenario is a big WIN to the tyrants.

Gun culture will be dead. American's won't be able to defend themselves or train with their guns without being charged as a felon and going going to jail.

And they'll slowly collect the firearms over the long term either through slowly picking people off who get reported or as people's children and grandchildren turn them into the government when they die.

If we lose our 2A rights, freedom is dead forever. Its already on its last, dying gasps of breath. We let them destroy our free speech and we let them know destroy our right to vote by the biggest coup in history. We cannot let them destroy the 2A.
