But if he has a plan, and everything follows this plan, how's that work with free will? I mean, I get giving babies cancer is very important to your god for some reason (not that he's ever been opposed to a bit of genocide, or even wiping out almost all of humanity), and that obviously doesn't require free will, but what about things that do like starting a family?

So your god has the power over life and death, but he lets babies painfully die of cancer? Also, eternal life would be an unimaginable torture. What the fuck are you going to do for eternity? You could count every grain of sand on every beach on the planet, one by one, once for every grain of sand on every beach, and you'd be no closer to the end. That's horrifying, and I'd rather just die like everything else seems to.
