My best friend is an atheist, and we have a lot of really good theological debates about faith and the existence of God. What matters is keeping an open mind for different points of view, regardless if they align with yours or not. As long as you have the ability to listen and respond with decency and respect for one another, there will always be a place to meet in the middle and find common ground.
