Sites like Gab and Parler suffer from the very thing that draws people toward them. The chatter there is almost exclusively political. Which is fine if you want to talk about politics, but it means you can't really find discussion about anything else. Wanna talk about your favorite comic book? You'll get a fanart or two at best and a few positive comments. Want to talk about sports? You'll see a few guys posting pictures of their stash of team merchandise.
On top of that, all but conservative celebrities will not be able to go in with their real names and identities.
I think if Trump really wants to make this work, he needs to take a page from Rumble's book. Rumble always makes sure you see a cute critter video before anything else.
