I was a member of a small local union,(the ARWI), at a Dupont site. Occasionally the UMW, or the USWA would have a drive at our site, send people to talk to you at home, etc. What always frosted me was their insistence that the entire membership vote for a particular candidate. They never got in although it was close several times.
