...bringing the pain...
- Retail purchases down 85%
- Stretching gas tank to every two weeks (was one per week)
- Research everything for made in USA...if it’s not...not buying...perhaps a little from India (I have a feeling we will need them before this is finished)...
- Pulling cash out of circulation (if it is not in a financial institution...it cannot be floated for business/personal loans)
- Teaching myself to do more DIY
- Shopping/dining only in red areas (sparingly...I WANT the economy to grind to a halt)
- Charities and non profits are on their own
- Listening to music on an actual radio again (no streaming)
- TV rarely turned on, media not being consumed
...I have put the brakes on most commerce coming out of my home...
...the worst that happens...is...I have a ton of savings (for when/if guns and ammo come back or for rural property)...and I get to learn some new skills...
...the economic war...continues...
PS-my apologies for the stock market...as well as the coming inflation bomb (for my part)...but some things are more important than money...
PPS-they better change quick as I am starting to enjoy this simpler lifestyle...I may never come back again...
I'm buying lots more on eBay from re-sellers. Those products have already been bought or written off by the big corps, thus my purchase doesn't add to their profit. Plus, if you sort correctly & are careful you can only buy from Americans. It's not hard to figure out by the bad English who are Chinese resellers.
