I grew up there and still live in the area, no one here has cared about masks in months. Maybe 10% of people wear them now and I’ve never been asked once to put one on. Our restaurants open back up about a month after all this started. My daily life hasn’t changed at all. I’m thankful to live here and not a blue city/state

Couple of NYT travel pieces and a hipster invasion and Charleston is shit now. Savannah is the best of the three pretty southern towns. New Orleans has degenerated too far.
Well I spent all last weekend in Myrtle Beach and never put a mask on and was at a massive car show and ate out every meal. Maybe 5% of people wore masks
I believe all mask mandates are gone but individual cities can still do. The moronic mayor of Myrtle Beach has mandated them until the end of the month.
What about Richland County in general? There are so many levels to this mask crap. I just need to know when these people are up for reelection and get them out.
