For the record I deleted FB and it feels good not to be a product of Zuckerburg and I only visit two twitter pages occasionally and don’t have an account. Fuck Dorsey. Those two fund our (as in American loving patriots that support freedom and rights) demise.
But I want to point out the hypocrisy of seeing both these topics receive upvotes. We can’t walk away from the two largest social media platforms and then “be louder”, can we? If so tell me how that works. I do hope Trumps platform will be wildly successful and that there is a real strong team behind it.
I had FB a long time and I did go out posting a lot of shit showing the hypocrisy of this shit Biden regime.
But reality is by keeping FB I was supporting the person Zuckerburg and his team which are literally funding my destruction via the destruction of America. I decided I would not be a product of his any longer.
It’s your decision and you just have to weigh what you are getting out of being on FB versus the knowledge that you are helping directly support one of the most dangerous villains of our time, one that is against everything we here support.
I view it like this: If it weren't for the social media the people filling our time would be people you literally don't even remember. It causes you to fill your dunbar number with people you don't even care about.
They already hav background checks but now that it’s “universal” all they have to do is mandatory reporting of lost or stolen, and they have a de facto registration. No plausible deniability the feds can come to your house with a list and arrest you if you don’t prosuce every firearm on the list
Yes, the GOP makes women have to go through a background check, provide at least 2 forms of ID, wait up to 10 days in some states, and (in some states) require you to wait an additional time up to 30 days while your paperwork is being processed.
Literally just filled out an application online and provided a copy of my ID.
Buying a gun was more difficult, considering I had to go through a background check, fill out a ton of paperwork, and wait while they check my information before I could even carry the gun out.
Texas did something smart though. If you have a LTC, you could just have the gun store swipe that and you're good to go.
For those who dont know, if you have an LTC, then you've already taken a class, done a background check, submitted your prints to the FBI, and registered with the state.
All the dumb shit is taken care of and all you need to do is swipe your LTC and you could buy just about any gun you want without doing all the background checks and paperwork.

They actually got me my conceal carry permit rather quickly compared to stories I've heard.
I luckily applied about a month or two before March of last year, so didn't have to go through all the covid stuff.
IDK how they were finger printing during covid, if it all the first few months.
So I'm happy, and feel so much safer at work. I work in a city ghetto daily, so it's a relief being armed. I want to take classes to learn more safety though, and get some basic training in self defense actions.
I am against backround checks, and only okay with certain felons losing their right to bear arms.
Certain victimless crimes shouldn't dictate the loss of self defense... Like, caught growing marijuana? What makes you a dangerous person? Because you grew a God created plant?

My LTC instructor showed us his NY Conceal Carry permit and said he keeps it updated because its such a pain in the ass to get it. So he will never let it expire.

Well to be fair, I still have a facebook and i'm always commenting on politicians facebook pages. Its amazing how many like-minded people are there.

Well unfortunately, I have to use Facebook because I also manage my wife's business page. You need an account for that.
As much as I hate Facebook, they do a fairly good job at getting our business promoted in the area with their ads program.

Yeah, first off, over half of gun deaths are by suicide. Not attacks.
Second, the next bulk of gun deaths are gangster on gangster crime, which doesn't end no matter how many laws are passed, look at Mexico.
Then, another significant portion of gun deaths are in self defense of thugs.
When you take all that away, you're left with a very small number of wrongful gun deaths.
Less than 20% of gun deaths reported are innocent people dying. It's actually a very low number, and more people are killed without guns.
Quit sending MS13, rapists and other criminals across our border. This would actually save lives. We need our guns to protect us from these killers.
