A few weeks ago I was picking up a pizza from a local place and they had CBS news on the little TV in the lobby. Mind you, this is in FL, where we've basically been wide open and doing fine for months. The way the reporting was, you'd think the only growth industry in the US would be digging mass graves. It was sensationalist to just an absolutely batshit degree, and if you even suggest as such, the sheep label you a "denier".
That's the big problem here, you are either part of the media sheep-cult, or you are a pariah "denier" so its impossible for there to be any kind of reasoned middle ground.
I know of two people personally that were hospitalized for wuhan virus that did not need to be. Have you guys seen this also?
One just went on their own because they were scared. The family told me that she wasn't that sick and she didn't need to go. The other was basically convinced to be admitted when she tested positive at the hospital. Wasn't very sick and didn't need to stay at all.
Have seen it once as well. The hospital was all but begging/dooming the person to stay. Needless to say they were discharged the next day and just fine. I place a large part of the blame on hospitals helping to perpetuate this farce in the name of $$$, our entire system has been corrupted to the core
My grandparents both got it. One is 86 and one is 87. They both have high blood pressure, one is overweight and bordering on diabetes. They recovered after about three weeks and were up and about right after that. They said it wasn't pleasant at all, that they'd feel winded after very little effort, but they were good in about three weeks. Take that for what it's worth. My grandfather wound up passing away a couple months later from metastatic lung cancer and my grandmother is doing great.
To be fair, the only person I know of who died was the cousin of a friend and he sought ZERO care after he started feeling sick and got tested and was waiting for results (this was before the rapid test was easily available). By the time he figured out he should go to the hospital, it was too late for him.
He had type 1 diabetes, was over 70 and also had cirrhosis of the liver (from the diabetes). And was overweight.
I have actually heard of a couple people in my area being forced into signing dnr’s so they can see their family while admitted then getting put on a vent because of “COVID” and dying.

The way the media reported on COVID, you'd think it was the second coming of the Black Death. Yet, whenever they'd actually release numbers, anyone capable of critical thinking could see that the risk was minor. Like 500,000 positive tests in my state with only like 6,000 "COVID deaths" throughout the entire year. Turns out as long as you don't have a demented Democrat governor forcing infected patients into ill-equipped nursing homes filled with vulnerable elderly, shit's not so bad. And yet I've still got friends who completely succumbed to the propaganda and are like "I don't think I'll ever stop wearing my mask, or ever feel safe around large crowds again."
The COVID propaganda has had a worse impact than the actual virus itself.
All of that was a lie. I work in healthcare and see that the hospital volumes went down for two months last year but most hospitals recovered and volumes went back to normal for the most part. At no time did volumes go up. What I hear about the hospitals now is that there’s a whole lot of screaming by inpatients because they are ignored. Family is no longer allowed inside the hospitals leaving the caretakers unobserved by their love ones. Stay away from inpatient services if you can.
I am excited to see what happens when Minnesota tests students who’ve basically missed a year get to take their state MCA tests soon. This should be entertaining. The consequences of their lockdowns were more detrimental for most families than just getting Covid.

They often say but it'd be much worse, to which I respond.
Look at infection rates a year ago when it started and we had mask shortages, right now the daily infection rate is 2-3x higher than it was back then, so where do you justify your conclusion that'd be higher if we didnt use masks?
Yeah and social distancing now you have people standing a feet away yelling at each other but they're wearing masks lol. Fucking humans, we deserve a goddamn extinction event
That's about the same exposure I get to TV because we don't watch it at all at home and I've noticed the same thing. I feel like Roddy Piper wearing the sunglasses every time I see TV and/or news on out anywhere.
