New York has become third world
Going back to the pre-Giuliani days. Bloomberg kept things going decently well, although he's not really a Democrat anyway. Just took a single real Democrat to turn the place back into a shit hole.
This time I don't think there will be a Giuliani around to fix the place up again... and with the amount of people fleeing the state for lower taxes and warmer weather it'll only get worse. New York will survive for a time based on its past reputation, but that won't last forever.
Ya it's rapidly returning to its 70s and early 80s condition. But the federal government will subsidize it at taxpayer expense, so it will hold on for quite a while.
Back in the day, that wasn't nearly as big of a problem as it is now. Now, the feds just pass multi trillion dollar stimmies to prop up their Marxist localities. The only poor bastards are idiots like us who continue being productive enough to be forced to pay taxes for a bunch of shit we don't believe in and cities we don't even visit.
I personally know two businesses that are specialized service providers who are noping out to Appalachia and Texas respectively.
