Yea the tiling was cool and some seemed to reminesce of days gone by, shame they just let it fall apart and grow a patina of nastyness.
I suppose they will eventually just rip those out and replace them with advertising boards if they ever even get to it.
Probably just paint them white and project ads onto them
The station names of most stations were done a very long time ago in mosaic tiles forming classic Roman letters and numbers. They are still beautiful. Some are even kept clean.
