Gerald is the literal guy everyone fucks with. I think he's only there because he's annoying and he's that guy in the group that gets picked on by everyone.

Nobody fucks with Dave, Half Asian Lawyer, or anyone in the producer booth. They're funny or serve a purpose. I do agree with you on the laughing at everything he says though. I just chalk that up to guys having fun at work though. Crowder just gets most of the laughs cause he talks most.
