By accounts I've read from law offices and gun stores, the CBI(Colorado Bureau of Investigation ) takes around 30 minutes to verify.

Roughly the same amount of time for a NICS.

Do you have anything to suggest otherwise? Genuinely curious

that's bullshit. after coronavirus it was often 3-4 days. never faster than 2 days.

the shooters' gun was purchased a week ago. it was a ruger ar 556, and was seen playing with it by family members. it is technically a pistol because of its' length
