Imo it's not a good idea to take on sombody with a rifle with a pistol unless you have the element of surprise And the proximity to stop him. Im thinking the cop ran in too fast and either didn't have the surprise advantage or was taken by surprise. Either way out always takes a good guys with guns to take down the bad.
