Allah literally means “God” in Arabic, and it refers to the same Judeo-Christian God.

[edit]

Wow a lot of butthurt people who need to study up on their religion.

The Christian God, the Father is one part of the Trinity. It is separate and the same time together. You can't have one without the other. Without the Son and Holy Spirit, which Islam and Judaism lack, it is absolutely NOT the same God

Also, the Quran calls Allah the “greatest of deceivers.” Satan is the greatest of deceivers in the Bible

Also, the characteristics of Allah and God of the Bible are totally different. God is all knowing, there’s no reason for him to completely change his characteristics

I have to say that is not true being a Messianic Jew it is vastly different, the Hebrew word Elohim is a inhabitant of the spirit realm which we get the word god. But the god of the religion Islam and the God of Israel is not the same,

If Allah meant God in Arabic, how come Muslims say Allah when speaking English instead of saying God? Calling him Allah while speaking English is giving him a proper name.

I know Christian Egyptians who know other Arabic speaking Christians who say God in Arabic and English, the never say Allah.

Not even close, but it is certainly what Muslims want you to think. Congratulations!
