I fled Colorado a few years ago. There's still hope for the western slope, but the front range is completely lost. As my dad used to say, the hippies ruined everything.
nah, the Californians did. Hippies weren't a problem when they were contained in Boulder when I was living there in the 90s or mid 2ks. Came back to Denver in '18 though and everyone was complaining about all the moveins from California, and it had clearly deteriorated in a way where Boulder now looked sane by comparison.
Wife and I are planning to flee down south to Colorado Springs.
Ahh yea my friend suggested Woodland Park. Furthest I really wanted to go in the mountains is Manitou Springs. Can't quite afford anything but cheap houses there, will settle for within CS and trying to avoid going further out east to the new constructions, though love the new houses they're building there.
