We're talking about a government that doesn't want to acknowledge gender dysphoria as a mental illness and which would happily classify white supremacy as one -- and also likes to claim that all white people are racist.

So yeah, no. Gun owners/sellers should be responsible and not sell product to psychopaths. The government doesn't need a part in that.
