The EPA is one I’d have to look more into, and what they actually do, what policies they enforce. I love our environment and parks and all that good stuff. There could be a place for the EPA in a conservative govt, as long as it is not weaponized - and never allowed to be - to push bs like climate change.

But really, regulating something like the environment would be best left up to states to decide, although I can see the benefit of having a national minimal standard. Wouldn’t want any Americans living in cities with pollution like in Beijing.

The DNR does the parks and environment stuff. The EPA does regulation on things like carbon emissions and business waste, and they completely weaponize it

well the left weaponizes everything. That's why just getting rid of agencies would really be easier. There's a lot of science that I'd have to examine if I were ever in the position to make these decisions, since carbon emissions and waste from big companies and from specific industries is important to keep track of. Gotta make sure nothing in the water is turning our kids gay! We got enough leftists trying to do that already.

That gave me a thought right now. I've never heard of the EPA going after something like a city government or anything like that. I live close to Milwaukee and we have a problem with the cities sewers when big rainstorms come through. The treatment facilities can't handle the increased water levels and raw sewage ends up being dumped into the river and lake Michigan. There are even signs next to the outflow ports warning about bacterial contamination. Long story short if the agencies actually went after the worst offenders they might be more palatable for someone like me.
