I used to talk to anyone. Would work with anyone. I didn't give a damn about your color, orientation, class, or politics. I would debate points of view, in a respectful way. Then the left took over the world. I stopped going to my stylist (gay guy) because all of a sudden, if you don't support the marxist left you're a homophobe, and he would scream it from the rooftops. Rather than be attacked and labeled, I just found another stylist. I wonder if he's noticed how many clients he has lost? I used to go to a great local restaurant. After George Kirby, I noticed that had "black owned" and "BLM Supporter" sign on the door. I always knew they were black owned, back when I spent my money there. Now I feel like the signage is a "dog whistle" that says whites aren't welcomed. I stopped ordering take out from them. I noticed that they are out of business now, and I wonder if it was the Kung Flu or if it was loss of business from people who look like me? Anyone else finding that you only want to spend time with conservatives who look like you?

Yes. I live in a very liberal state and just about all of my friends are liberals. Not raving ones, mind you, but I'm just taking a long break from them. I'd like to find people who are more aligned with my values, but it isn't easy. So many leftist here, but I also think those who are patriots and MAGA are just laying low, like myself. Quite isolating, but I'll survive.
