Washington DC is out of control in every aspect of its being, and it wants statehood in return. I think a hard reboot of the capital structure is in order. The location should be moved, the bureaucracy uprooted and turned over. Term limits should be instituted for all representatives and governmental employees. DC should never be a state.
The location of the US capital should never be a separate state. It is a place where people from amongst the various states are supposed to meet to determine the best way to act for us all in our Union. Currently, it is a cesspool of corruption where people from across the country conspire to enrich themselves by leaching off the public wealth and power as much as possible. Fuck that noise.
