People in the US often thought that Americans wouldn't follow orders like Germans did in WWII. The Milgram Experiment (1963) showed that most Americans will indeed follow orders they believe cause great physical harm, even death, if the orders come from someone with a position of authority.
But that person was a stranger. What happens when you're sent to kill your brother? Or sister? Or to arrest your grandma or auntie? Things become very different when families start turning against each other. THAT will be the true test. Why do you think they've been working so hard to undermine the traditional western family?
