"I just wrapped up my meeting with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago. It was Big League. When we finished, President Trump had an incredible message he wanted to send our supporters:
"I want to congratulate Project Veritas on their big win on The New York Times [lawsuit], now the suit will continue, and whatever you can do for their legal defense fund, we're with them all the way. They do incredible work; they find things that nobody would even believe possible. So, James - congratulations." – President Donald J. Trump
Thank you, Mr. President. Like President Trump, Veritas is fighting The New York Times like no one else ever has before. This is the time to make your voices heard against the Fake News. This is the time to take action.
The New York Times spewed lies about Project Veritas’ investigation into illegal ballot harvesting in Minnesota last year, and now they must pay the price for their defamation. NYT reporter Maggie Astor and their infamous Executive Editor, Dean Baquet, will now be deposed and forced to tell the TRUTH to a federal judge.
Judge Charles Wood of the New York State Supreme Court stated in his ruling that, "The Articles that are the subject of this action called the [Veritas] Video 'deceptive', but the dictionary definitions of 'disinformation' and 'deceptive' provided by [the New York Times'] counsel ... certainly apply to [Times reporters Maggie] Astor's and [Tiffany] Hsu's failure to note that they injected their opinions in news articles, as they now claim."
Wood added, "Here, one of the largest newspapers in the world since Abraham Lincoln was engaged in the private practice of law, is claiming protections from an upstart competitor [Project Veritas] armed with a cell phone and a web site."
