DeSantis is kinda based but his gun control methods can be seen all over Florida. Simply YT search "Florida 2nd amendment audit" and watch what you get. Lots of cops and sheriff pulling guns on people for open carry, racking their AR's and shit. Very dangerous, corrupt police all over the state. Same with the government positions all over there.
