NGL, I have a deep respect for the folks who do such menial labor. It's taken some time to build up the habit, but I always remember to thank the people who do menial labor so that I don't have to. I leave soda or beer for the sanitation workers who pick up my garbage, and I thank construction workers when I see them resurfacing a road or building a bridge.

I've done that kind of work. It sucks. It's often a thankless job, too. So I will thank those people.
