No, they were very clear about the fact that they were regular people. That was kind of the whole point. They may have been exemplars of their time, but they were still greedy, sex-crazed sinners.
Sin is in the heart of every man, but the founding fathers were the grandsons of the pilgrims and puritans. Almost every single signer of the Declaration of Independence was an ordained preacher. Ben Franklin of course loved the ladies :)
2021 is completely different. WAP is the hot song, people dont know what gender they are, they have abandoned God and believe in lies of moral relativism. There are no protestants on the supreme court, the main denominations themselves are totally sold out and abandoned the bible. As the world turns.
Being Hispanic, 4th gen Texan, I wonder where me and my kids fit into all this. They’re good, my Dad is a good conservative (boomer) Christian dude. I identify with my own kind, but I really love white folks, especially since both me and my wife’s families have been here in Texas longer than most others. We are both light skinned, and have been bullied by our Mexican people since elementary school for being “white”.
We just happened to get in with the mean crowds because we had looks, but without them we’d have been fucked over and over. It’s a sad state to be in.
They were better men, than us.
