This. People always close their eyes and imagine a Hollywood style stand off in front of some suburban house where there's dozens of cops outside with a megaphone. Well if they're all in front of your house, there's only what- another dozen left from the whole precinct? Who's in front of my house? Who's down the block? Who's on the next block, and the next? They don't have the manpower even if they had the national guard and military. There's more of us, more prepared than they'll ever have.
